If you save your puzzle under your email address (this is optional), we will use your email address only for the stated puzzle-related purposes.
If you buy something from us (still more optional), we will use your personal information only for the sale-related purposes.
Please note that our purchase process is slightly different and much safer than typical websites. We transfer you to a leading credit card processing company to pay on their secure page with your payment card (credit, debit or check card). Then they transfer you back to us to receive your product. Thus your payment card info never touches our web server or web site. Logging into your account at puzzle-maker.com provides access to your puzzles, not to your contact information and not to the numbers from your payment card. If we log into our account at the credit card processing company's website, we can access your contact information (name, address, phone) and the last four digits of your payment card.
All interactions with our web server record your computer's IP address. This IP address can be useful for finding lost puzzles, such as in case you make a puzzle and do not save it online. For the IP address to be be useful, you have to promptly click "Contact Us" and submit a request. This request will also provides your IP address, which lets us know which IP address you are using today and thus which IP address we should search for in our puzzle server logs.
